The Creative Assembly is working on a Total War: Warhammer game, despite not officially announcing it.
Total War: Warhammer has been revealed to be the next game from Sega and The Creative Assembly.
The game was not officially announced, but was rather mentioned in an art book for the studio. The art book was supposed to start shipping by the end of the month, but one fan got a hold of a copy early and found a reference to the game.
He took to the official forums to post his findings.
As you can see in the image above, the book has an interview with Mike Simpson discussing the future of the series, before revealing that the team is in fact working on a Warhammer Total War game. Of course everyone predicted this would happen ever since we heard the news of Sega securing the license from Games Workshop all the way back in 2012.
