The most downloaded games from the PlayStation Store in 2014 have been announced by Sony, and no: Destiny was not the most favored on both sides of the pond.
Bungie’s online shooter more popular in North America on both PlayStation 4 and through the console’s add-on section. But in Europe, the title came in seventh on the list and didn’t show up at all on the PS3 chart.
Instead, the crown in Europe went to Minecraft on all three Sony formats: PS3, PS4 and Vita.
On the PS3 chart in North America, Minecraft was the top downloaded game while Destiny came in fourth place behind Grand Theft Auto 5 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, respectively.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment was the Vita favorite with the NA crowd, and Call of Duty titles and add-on content fared rather well.
