Hand of Fate

Beyond the thirteen gates at the end of the world, the game of life and death is played. Draw your cards, play your hand, and discover your fate. Hand of Fate is a hybrid action-RPG/card game, in which the player builds a set of cards into a deck, which is then used to deal out the dungeon floors through which they adventure. Upon entering a combat, all of the cards the player has collected fly into their hands as fully modelled 3D assets, and combat begins.

Hand of Fate is a unique game, mix of multiple genres, from card games to action-RPGs. First I was not sure about that game, but when I started to play, I fell in love with the game. Hand of Fate is a very addictive game. Defiant Development have done a very good job of creating a mystical atmosphere. The game is also very well balanced and looks very nice.

However, at some point action side may start annoy you. A small choice of activities, same areas, same enemies. And camera view can not be changed. Also the final levels is a little bit too difficult. Most of the times you run out of gold and food. And before you can find a little gold to buy more food, you will be starved to death.

If you are looking some very original game, then Hand of Fate is definitely for you!
