The Fallout 4 team is working hard to ensure serious bugs aren’t included with the game at launch.
With many games, minor bugs tend to be skipped until a patch can be released post launch; however, larger game breaking bugs sometimes slip through, especially when the game is huge in scope.
With Fallout 4, Bethesda hopes to squish any bugs or glitches which would affect the player’s enjoyment, such as those users experienced at launch with Skyrim.
“There will always be some problems,” said Howard. “If the game crashes that’s bad, but it is nowhere near as bad as someone’s saved game being hosed. That, we will do anything and everything to avoid.”
Howard didn’t mention whether or not the team would leave “enjoyable” bugs in the game if found, much like it did with the dragon-slaying RPG.
Fallout 4 is out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November.
