In the game, players will assume the role of a character named Ethan who is wandering around a mansion searching for his missing wife. Whether we will stay in this derelict building the entire time is unknown.

Surely we will be able to walk around the grounds. Grab a chainsaw out of a shed, find some herbs in a weed infested garden, etc. Maybe an old, spooky family plot is even out back. I’m just guessing. And hoping, I suppose. I’ve probably watched too many horror movies, so moving on.

Resident Evil 7 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One January 24. The game will support PS4 Pro along with PS VR at release.
