A new demo for Octopath Traveler will arrive today for Switch, and it provides three hours of playtime.

Octopath Traveler’s new demo is essentially the full game, and it allows the player to choose from any of the eight characters in-game.

A three hour time limit applies, but all progress can be transferred over to the full game upon purchase. Like the previous Octopath Traveler demo, it will go live later this evening in North America with other regions following soon after.

During a Nintendo Treehouse Live at E3 2018 session, it was said the main story in Octopath Traveler will last between 50-60 hours of playtime. When all the side quests are factored in, players are looking at 80-100 hours of playtime.

Those who purchase the game can pre-load from today to save themselves a bit of time come July 13. It takes up around 2.9GB of space (thanks, Nintendo Everything).
